The municipal employment unit coordinates rehabilitative work activities, work trials, wage-subsidised placements and summer jobs for young people. Roles are available in food and cleaning services, grounds and property maintenance, libraries, schools and early childhood education.
Placements are arranged with the South Karelia employment area. The regional employment authority is responsible for statutory employment services.
