This hostel belongs to the Finnish Hostel Association network and occupies a fully renovated building completed in 1938, with the original 1930s atmosphere kept in the rooms. It stands on the shore of Keurusselkä, a crater lake, in the Art Town area. A lakeside sauna is available to guests, and Serlachius Manor is reached by a forest path of about 2.5 km. Tennis and padel courts are nearby.
Breakfast is included with the stay, either self-service in the library or a hot breakfast at Mäntän Klubi, and rooms can also be booked without breakfast. Guests can prepare morning and evening snacks in the kitchen. On weekdays there is a lunch buffet, and Lounaskahvila Miina serves homemade pastries. The hostel is run by the same family as Mäntän Klubi, a guest and event house built in 1920. Wi-Fi and parking are free, pets are welcome and the building is non-smoking. There is no pool or gym.
