The campfire site is associated with a waymarked riverside trail through former fields and a former swimming-beach area. The route is about 1.4 km one way or roughly 2.5 km as a loop. Three information boards cover local nature and history, and a 500-metre extension added in 2021 leads towards the Koskenpää rapids.
Sturdy walking boots or rubber boots are recommended for the natural terrain, depending on the weather. Parking is at the church, with the trail starting behind its service building. Developed in 2013, the trail is maintained by the Paimionjoki association. A Finnish horse has been used for woodland management on the site.
