This beach is run by the municipality and lies on a sand-pit shaped swimming area, with a kiosk open in summer. Swimming is possible all year round. It is also a second starting point for the forest hiking trail network. A new large sauna building is open to the public, with a big shared sauna room and separate changing rooms, toilets and showers for women and men. Small lockable lockers hold valuables.
Public sauna sessions are charged per visit, and multi-visit passes are sold. The sauna can be rented for groups through the municipality's online shop, and the kitchen can be rented only by prior agreement. Swimming water is tested for blue-green algae and sampled at least monthly in summer. Volunteers take turns closing the sauna. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible, but there is no accessible seating, hearing loop or accessible toilet.
