Packaging made of plastic, metal, cardboard and glass can be returned here for sorting. The point is run under Suomen Pakkauskierrätys RINKI Oy, which handles producer responsibility for packaging. According to the website, producer-responsible companies recycled 61 percent of the packaging waste generated in Finland in 2020.
The website offers sorting instructions for all packaging materials and a search for collection points. Feedback about a particular point or a request for a new one can be sent through the site, and customer service is reachable by phone or message. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
