This traditional boating and fishing harbour has a history of fish smoking. A concrete pier provides berths for overnight stays and errands, with a channel depth of 2.2 metres. The fishing harbour has two cranes, a herring pump and sorting machine, and a fish hall with ice and cold storage. It was renovated in 2012–2013.
The guest pier allows stays of up to 24 hours. Boaters have toilets, showers, a service building, a round-the-clock fuel dispenser, septic tank emptying and drinking water. Around 90 boat berths are available to rent. Cafés, a gastropub and summer theatre are nearby, with town-centre shops about 1.5 km away. The entrance and car park are accessible.
