This drive-through sorting hall at Metsäsairila's recycling centre accepts trailer and van loads of construction and demolition waste, furniture, garden waste, electrical appliances and hazardous waste. Working appliances are passed to the Parik foundation for reuse, while small reusable items can be left or taken from a swap container.
Asbestos must be packed airtight. Invasive plants must be bagged; garden waste containing Spanish slugs must be double-bagged and reported to staff. Soil and crushed stone are sold by the trailer load in summer. Waste bins and paper food-waste bags are also sold. The entrance and parking provide wheelchair access.
