This small family business designs and makes wooden products in Finland and sells them through an online shop. The range includes personalised cake toppers, birth boards, ear jewellery, home decor and craft marks and tools. Products are made under the Koiwu brand from domestic birch plywood sourced from a supplier about 20 km away. Cutting, gluing and finishing are done in-house at a birch-plywood farm site. Before focusing on wooden products, the company sold knitted shawls and wool clothing.
Custom designs and personalised items, including name or text engraving, are available, as are gift cards and design services. A share of each order is donated to the Finnish Association for Nature Conservation, and the wooden products carry the Avainlippu (Key Flag) mark for Finnish work.
