The bakery shop at the Kenkävero estate sells freshly baked sweet and savoury pastries. Its signature product is Eelis-Antti rye bread, a wholegrain rye baked from an original rye strain, ground in a small mill and made without preservatives. The range also includes hand-packed meringues in lingonberry, salmiakki and mocha flavours, and crispbread. The seasonal range varies, but potato rieskas and rye breads are always on offer.
Do-it-yourself baking kits include blueberry-lingonberry bread, potato rieska and cake mixes. Kenkävero is Finland's largest wooden parsonage, with a history going back to the 1700s and in cultural use since 1991. The car park is wheelchair accessible.
