The independent family optician is run by the fifth generation of a business originating with Petter Laitinen's clockmaking shop in 1876. Services include eye examinations, retinal photography and made-to-measure frames. Specialities include shooting glasses and prescription diving glasses.
Frames and lenses are sourced from several manufacturers. Ophthalmologist Timo Peltola sees patients at the shop. It is in the Akseli shopping centre and has a wheelchair-accessible entrance.
