The football club was founded in 1946. Its activities are for children and young people: the youngest players are aged 3 to 6, and junior teams are organised by birth year. There is also a recreational group called Liikkuvat Kissat. The club family, Kissaperhe, brings together players, families, volunteers and supporters, and the club publishes the magazine Avauspotku.
The club looks for volunteers and offers companies partnership and sponsorship opportunities. Its partners are listed on the club website. The car park is wheelchair accessible.
