The Forest Centre is a national government agency providing open forest and nature information. It gives forest owners independent advice for their decisions, supervises compliance with forest legislation and grants support for forest and nature management. It also publishes news, training and events, and runs development projects promoting sustainable use of forests.
Through the Metsään.fi service, forest owners can find professionals and apply for support. The website is available in Finnish, Swedish and English. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
