This patient organisation for people with memory disorders and their relatives belongs to the Finnish Memory Association network. Activities include peer groups for relatives, including those affected by frontotemporal and rare dementias, plus peer support and memory exercise groups for people with a diagnosis. Memory cafés, courses and lectures are also organised.
The South Savo Muistiluotsi phone service provides information, emotional support and opportunities to share experiences, but not advice on medication. Activities extend to nearby municipalities and other parts of South Savo. Volunteering is available, and the website has an information bank.
