The rental cabin Piilopaikka stands in a rustic, wilderness-style setting about 30 km from Oulu, in the Topelius 'Koivu ja Tähti' story landscape. It suits groups of 1 to 20 for meetings, evening gatherings or as a hiking base. The common room has a large fireplace and a wood-fired stove for cooking, a long table, a TV or screen, a sleeping sofa, a drinks cooler and a coffee maker. A rest room has three beds, and the wood-heated sauna seats about six.
The common room is not insulated against the cold. The washrooms have two toilets and underfloor heating. The interior suits people with mobility impairments, but the sauna and washrooms need an assistant. Pets are allowed, and smoking is permitted outdoors in a designated area. Overnight stays are arranged separately. Payment is by bank transfer when booking, with free cancellation up to 3 days before the event.
