On the River Oulujoki, the rural tourism venue offers group accommodation in a historic farmyard with buildings dating from 1906. Stays are for groups of at least ten, with around 30 seasonal sleeping places. The converted cowshed, Tervasali, seats 120. Activities include canoeing, fishing, nature outings, adventure programmes and guided exercise.
The shore has the Hehku smoke sauna and a glazed dining pavilion. Tervasali's own kitchen prepares celebration menus; outside food is not allowed. Alcohol is not sold, brokered or served. Operations focus on summer, and Tervasali opens only in summer. Groups can hire fishing and outdoor equipment. The car park is wheelchair accessible.
Describe your group visit, celebration or sauna experience in the comments for other organisers.
