The municipal utility distributes drinking water across almost the whole municipality and receives wastewater from planned areas and certain sewered rural areas. Buildings along the Sanginjoki river are outside its service area. Drinking water is supplied by Hirsijärven Vesi Oy.
Customers can report meter readings through a dedicated service and use a fault and emergency contact line. The website publishes water test results, supply status information and a risk assessment based on the WHO Water Safety Plan approach, approved by the health protection authority. Water quality results are also available through vesi.fi.
