Library services date back to 1865. Loans include books, magazines, films, comics, music, audiobooks, board games, sports equipment, a sewing machine and a ukulele. The Pertti Kivelä collection holds about 400 science fiction and fantasy books, also available for interlibrary loan.
Loans and reservations can be managed through the KESKI library network website. Self-service access uses a library card and PIN. Four public computers include two in a multipurpose room suitable for remote work; the room can be booked for meetings and lectures. Copying and printing are available. The entrance and car park are accessible.
