This family-owned bakery has been operating since 1952. The range includes rye and wheat breads, buns, coffee breads, cakes, cookies, pasties and pies. The breads are baked with 100% Finnish wheat and rye flour, raw materials are sourced locally and environmental friendliness is a stated aim. Organic products are one of the main product groups, and the most widely known is Meripoika crispbread, suitable for all ages.
Besides seasonal products, there are whipped cream cakes, layer cakes, rolled cakes, doughnuts, muffins and sandwich cakes. A restaurant called Tuomaksen Tupa serves a daily lunch and an à la carte menu, and wholesale sales to businesses are available. The car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
