The charging point belongs to the K-Lataus network run by K-Auto and sits at the K-Market PikkuKippari store. The electricity used for charging is domestic wind power, with its renewable origin verified by Guarantees of Origin. Stations offer Type 2 connectors (up to 22 kW) and fast charging (CCS, CHAdeMO, over 50 kW).
Charging can be started with the K-Lataus app, a free K-Lataus RFID tag or without registering. Registered users get cheaper charging rates and collect Plussa points on every charge. The partner network includes St1, Recharge and Ionity stations, shown on the app map. Customer service is available around the clock for K-Lataus matters, and there is time to shop while the car charges.
