Founded in 2006, the club uses an 18-hole course opened in summer 2007. Designed by Jan Sederholm at Kultaranta Resort, the course lies in a rugged archipelago landscape and is aimed mainly at ordinary club players. The club joined the Finnish Golf Union in 2007.
Volunteers organise themed activities, training and competitions. The website provides membership applications, club rules and hole descriptions with tips on tee shots, hazards and greens. A newsletter is available to subscribers.
