The parish church stands on the church hill. Designed by architect Erkki Huttunen and completed in 1937, this basilica-style building is one of Finland's early functionalist churches. It was funded by a donation from manufacturer J W Suominen and seats about 1,000 people. The interior is plain, with no paintings or altarpiece: a wooden altar cross and window curtains with woven evangelist symbols stand out. The Rieger organ has 34 pneumatic stops, and the 56-metre tower is a visible landmark. A chapel for about 100 people downstairs is used for funerals and other events, and the facade was renovated in 2014.
Sunday services, other spiritual events and concerts are held, and baptisms, weddings and funerals can be booked. There is a basic sound system for speeches and an induction loop. Step-free access is through the vestry door on the north side, with accessible parking in front of it. The parish hall next door can be rented.
