The amateur theatre association has staged summer theatre since 1975. Open-air performances take place in the Katvala museum courtyard, surrounded by over a dozen traditional buildings. The museum covers farming, cattle keeping, tar burning and funeral traditions.
Tickets can be booked online or bought ahead from Villiskirppis. The associated Tyhyjäpäät improvisation group can be booked for events. In summer, the museum grounds also have an animal farm and Lystikki café in a former cowshed. Parking is wheelchair accessible.
