The course is run by a frisbee golf club that operates courses at Kalliosaari and Pyssymäki. The Kalliosaari frisbee centre includes the Puttisuora game, completed in 2022 with sponsor support. Club members designed and built a storage and competition cabin at the course. The club is a member of the Olympic Committee's Star Club quality programme.
The warm-up area and putting baskets are on the left side of the club cabin. Discs can be returned through a hatch to the club storage, and a public disc return list is kept. Weekly competitions are held on Saturdays, and the club publishes basic rules and etiquette based on the Finnish disc golf federation's rules. It also hosts events such as the Kärkkäinen Open with the Ylivieska courses. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
