This independent Finnish craft brewery was founded in 1991 and is one of the two oldest small breweries in Finland still operating. It brews beers under the Keisari brand, plus ciders and soft drinks, with the Sun'n and Minea lines and gluten-free and organic beers among its products. Keisari is made with local water, Finnish malt and yeast; hops are the only imported raw material. Product development is led by the brewmaster, and the whole team takes part in recipe development. The brewery produces over 3 million litres of beer a year and over 1 million litres of ciders and soft drinks.
Visitors can take a brewery tour and the Keisari Experience, and there is a taproom and a shop. Events include Beer & Art evenings at the brewery. The company has a large number of shareholders, who are offered owner benefits. The car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
