Founded in 1907, the village primary school uses purpose-built facilities. Its work is developing towards environmental and nature education, and all classes use the surrounding countryside for learning. The school gained Green Flag status in December 2020.
Teaching covers grades 1–6. A special education teacher is shared with another school. The entrance and car park are wheelchair accessible.
