The library and culture house opened in 1991, designed by Helasvuo & Co, and was renovated in 2019–2021. Hannikainen Hall has 250 seats and a 114 m² stage for concerts, theatre, dance, meetings and lectures. The building also houses Kino Hannikainen cinema and Galleria Tyko.
The Palander dance and exercise hall and three meeting rooms with projection and sound equipment can be hired. Book through the Asio system and administrative secretary. Facilities include a lift, accessible entrances, two almost barrier-free toilets and two accessible parking spaces.
