The dance hall opened in 2001 and, according to its website, is one of the largest in southern Finland. The 800 m² birch plywood dance floor holds 1,300 people. Live music and performers play on stage, and the café-restaurant, which has a full alcohol licence, overlooks the stage and dance floor. It serves home-baked pastries and small savoury snacks.
Dance evenings are held on Fridays and Saturdays, typically from October to May. The age limit is 18, and under-18s are admitted with a guardian unless an event is marked K-18. The asphalt car park takes 600 vehicles, with a separate area for motorhomes and caravans. The cloakroom is paid and supervised, tickets can be paid by cash, bank card, Smartum Pay or ePassi, and permission for photography can be requested from the event steward.
