Operating since 2005, the private day-care centre occupies two floors of Mäntylinna, allowing activities to be grouped by age and development. Meals are prepared in its own kitchen from fresh ingredients, favouring local and Finnish produce. Staff include early childhood teachers, nurses and an occupational therapist.
Daily routines combine self-directed play and guided activities. Child-centred projects follow the national curriculum, with local outings and the Active Early Childhood Education programme. The entrance and parking area are wheelchair accessible.
