This local branch of a child welfare organisation runs activities for children, young people and families. Open meeting places include a family café and Pienten Nuokku. Activities include music play groups, movement clubs, music tuition and after-school care for pupils in grades one and two. Schoolchildren can also join clubs under the Finnish model for leisure activities.
People can join as participants or volunteers. Volunteers help with the family café, events and board work. Purchases from the Antikvariaatti Finlandia Kirja online bookshop can also support the association.
