The municipal recreation area on Lake Längelmävesi has a beach and lean-to shelter near the parking area. A roughly three-kilometre route passes another shelter and a fire site. The peninsula includes an ancient sacrificial site called Nunnankirkko, an old feldspar quarry and a white navigation marker at its tip.
An approximately 200-metre accessible route leads from parking to the beach and shelter. The remaining trail is steep, rocky and partly difficult, with no winter maintenance. A self-guided mini pilgrimage offers dramatised audio stories about the area's history, also available virtually.
