The child welfare unit provides demanding out-of-home care and psychiatric and functional rehabilitation for children with severe psychological or neuropsychiatric symptoms. Care takes place in small residential units, supported by a team with health, education and social care backgrounds.
Each child has a key worker supporting rehabilitation, school, hobbies and social skills. Parents and other important people are involved as partners in the child's upbringing. Staffing varies according to need, with temporary additional staff possible. The entrance and parking are accessible.
If you wish, share your experience of working with the unit below, without a child's personal details, to help other families.
