This protected Art Nouveau wooden villa dates from 1906, when it operated as a private old people's home for the local gentry. According to its website, Swedish fighter pilots stayed here during the Winter War. The fully renovated boutique hotel has about 16 or 17 rooms in the main building, plus six newer rooms in an annex with its own entrance. The restaurant serves a weekday buffet lunch with two hot main courses and a vegetarian option, many dishes marked lactose-free or gluten-free, and lunch can be ordered for takeaway or Wolt delivery.
Meeting rooms and party venues are available, including a room called Ester for groups of about 20. Afternoon tea is served at 17:00, and breakfast is included with the room. Wi-Fi and parking are free, and the website says guests can use the Hukka sports centre at no charge. The building is non-smoking and children are welcome; there is no pool or gym.
