The conservatory provides children and young people with extended-syllabus basic arts education in classical and popular music, plus early childhood music education. Vocational studies cover classical, popular and church music. Study paths can be chosen to suit personal goals, with music technology also offered.
Teaching sites include the music centre, Pohjankartano, Kotkantie and Oulunsalo House. Online videos introduce a range of instruments. Basic and vocational education both hold Erasmus+ accreditation. This site's entrance and car park are wheelchair accessible.
