This training centre is an approved training centre of the Finnish Transport Safety and Communications Agency, Traficom. It offers an anticipatory driving course for heavy vehicle drivers, such as truck and bus drivers, aiming at a safe, economical and fuel-saving driving style that takes other road users into account. The course lasts seven hours (7 x 45 min). The trainer holds a master's degree in education and an MBA and has worked as a traffic instructor for over 30 years.
Training is held in person in the classroom with discussions, videos and AV equipment. It can also be taken as a webinar on Microsoft Teams, or combined with in-person training days. Webinar participants need a headset, microphone, webcam, computer, stable internet and photo ID. Other professional competence courses include the Occupational Safety Card, customer service for professional drivers, and first aid and emergency first aid. Registration is through an online sign-up form.
