The lakeside grounds of a few hectares serve as a peacekeepers' association's summer base on Valkiaisjärvi. The sauna holds about six people, with a washroom and fireplace room in the same building. Facilities include a covered terrace, a long composite jetty, a boat, a grill area and storage buildings.
Members meet weekly in summer for sauna bathing, grilling and conversation. Training days with the National Defence Training Association of Finland, wreath-laying and flag ceremonies are also held here. The association using the base was founded in 1970.
