Founded in 1994, the English-speaking daycare and preschool accepts children from age three through the preschool year. Staff include native English speakers and Finnish teachers with strong English. Small groups are organised by age and language ability, with children rotating between teachers.
Preschoolers receive an hour of Finnish instruction daily. The curriculum follows Finnish national guidelines and emphasises multicultural and language learning, physical activity, music, art and sustainability. The building, used since 2023, is in a secluded setting surrounded by nature. Any child interested in learning English can attend.
