The practice offers individual, couple and family psychotherapy as well as parenting guidance. The approach is integrative, combining perspectives and methods from different schools flexibly according to each client's needs. The therapist, Erja Vainiokangas, is a family and couple psychotherapist with a background in social work (sosionomi AMK). Her training includes solution-focused brief therapy, emotion-focused couple therapy studies and neuropsychiatric coaching.
Couple therapy focuses on communication, emotional needs and rebuilding connection after distance or recurring conflicts. Family therapy addresses family interaction, crises, transitions and demanding parenthood. Parenting guidance offers a confidential space to discuss worries about raising children or teenagers, and individual therapy supports self-understanding and exploring options for change. Sessions can be attended alone, with a partner or with the whole family, and the service is available on site.
