Run by an artists' association, the art lending service and shop holds nearly 2,000 works by over 120 visual artists, focusing on Northern Ostrobothnia and Kainuu. Art can be bought outright or rented monthly, with the option to return it or buy it through instalments.
The collection can be browsed in Finnish through the national art lending network. Services include purchase advice, commissions such as portraits, business gifts and gift cards. Galleria 5, Arttila and Pimento share the House of Visual Arts. The entrance is not wheelchair accessible.
