This oriental dance association was founded in 1994 and describes itself as the biggest of its kind in Northern Finland. Lessons run from beginner to advanced levels for all ages, from children to seniors. Teaching is weekly, with short weekend courses as well. Introductory courses in Arabic music cover the tabla and other instruments.
The association holds an annual Spring Show and performs at private parties and business events. It has worked with local schools on introductory Arabic dance and music workshops, and has brought Finnish and foreign oriental dance teachers to the association. Teachers can instruct in English, and the association has its own dance studio.
