The Oulujoki fish ladder at the northern end of Hupisaaret park allows visitors to observe migratory fish from May to late October. According to the website, it is Finland's longest fish ladder.
Wooden bridges link the park's small islands, and old gazebos provide places to rest. There is a year-round playground and a summer café. A mobile game introduces the park's stories. The parking area is not wheelchair accessible.
