The Northern Finland regional office belongs to a national civic and expert organisation preventing alcohol, drug, nicotine and gambling harms. It works with children, young people, families, students, working adults and older people, alongside schools, municipalities and wellbeing services counties. It does not itself provide healthcare or addiction treatment.
National services include a round-the-clock substance advice helpline, an ombudsman and online courses. Online self-assessment tests cover substance and digital device use, with BuenoTalk content for young people. This office is listed within Osnakodit.
