Founded in 1952, this national defence association belongs to the Finnish Reservists' Association and has over 1,200 members. Activities include pistol, rifle, rapid-fire and simulator shooting, exercise and recreation. It also has a women's committee.
Finnish citizens aged 18 or over interested in voluntary national defence can apply for membership. The board approves new members monthly. Shooting slots at the Hiukkavaara range are subject to booking arrangements.
