Active since 1976, the Scout troop runs activities for children and young people and also has an adult section. The non-profit association is part of Finnish Scouting and is supported by the local parish federation.
It has its own Korpikoski campsite on the Sanginjoki river. An event calendar lists activities, and Advent calendars sold through the Scouts' online shop help raise funds.
