The volunteer association supports conscripts and reservists through defence-related voluntary work. Its mobile military canteen serves Defence Forces and Border Guard exercises, camps, fairs and events, operating from a fixed canteen, tent or sales vehicle.
Members can join sections of their choice. Its ten sections include catering, baking, training, handicrafts, youth activities and heritage work. The youth section accepts members from age ten. The association belongs to the national military canteen association.
