The former mine site offers guided tours and a mining museum, opened in August 1982 in the old mine changing house. The museum tunnel is 277 metres long and shows mining work through photographs and old mining machinery. The mining tower has a viewing platform 74 metres above sea level with 360-degree views. The Rinnerikastamo ore-dressing plant began operating in 1928 and now houses an exhibition updated in 2021 and 2024.
The site also has an underground party venue, Karbidi, for 50 people with an open fire hearth and a restaurant operating since 1985. Jauhimo seats about 100 and can host weddings, with a chapel directly below. Suodinosasto holds 300–400 standing guests in summer and can be arranged for exhibitions or events. Teatteri Kiisu presents local and visiting drama, comedy and music, and an 18-basket frisbee golf course of about two kilometres can be played even when the site is closed. There is a children's playground, and the site suits families. The car park, entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
