The local heritage museum occupies a former grain warehouse begun in the late 1840s and completed in 1850. It became a museum in 1956. Its farming and local-life collection consists largely of donations, particularly from Auttoinen village. The grounds have a traditional split-rail fence and an old granary.
A heritage association founded in 1955 runs the museum. It opens on summer Sundays with a guide and a café run by local entrepreneurs in one end of the building. The collection has been catalogued with Finnish Heritage Agency support. The association also arranges lectures, traditional sahti beer brewing courses and manor house excursions.
