A lookout tower about 14 metres high stands at the top of the Kullasvuori sports area, overlooking Lake Päijänne and surrounding forests. Two marked paths lead to the area's lookout towers: a moderately demanding 0.6 km blue route and an easy 0.9 km red route.
The blue path is steep and difficult to cycle in winter; the red route suits fat bikes. In deep snow, the natural path can be used for snowshoeing, but it is not maintained as a ski trail. The walk from Laivaranta harbour is about 3.8 km each way. Neither the entrance nor the parking area is wheelchair accessible.
