This amateur theatre has been active since 1978. It grew out of an initiative in 1977–79 by local writer Ilpo Tuomarila and the municipal culture board. The summer theatre stands on Museomäki hill, and its first summer production in 1979 drew about 2,500 viewers. Productions include children's and youth musicals and summer musical plays.
The auditorium can be reached by wheelchair via a new lift, and the car park, entrance and toilet are accessible. New members are welcome to join the group.
