This café-confectionery and bakery in the town centre was founded in 2003. The current owner, Risto Hyvönen, a third-generation baker, joined in 2004. Everything is baked from scratch on site using fresh, local and seasonal ingredients, with Finnish and some international flavours. The signature product is its layer cake.
On weekdays from 11 to 13 there is a warm main course, a soup option, bread baked the same day and salads. Lactose-free and gluten-free options are available at lunch, and allergen details are available from staff. The premises were expanded in summer 2018 and seat about 120. Group bookings and catering packages are arranged by reservation. Seating, toilet, car park and entrance are wheelchair accessible.
