The small private biographical museum explores a printer who lived around 1657–1737 and his ABC primer. Carved into 28 wooden printing plates during the Great Wrath, it was published in 1719 at the clergy's request to support literacy. It featured Finland's first ABC rooster.
The permanent exhibition presents the primer's history, printing plates and prints, along with a plate press made by Allan Frilander. A memorial stone from the 1960s stands in the yard. Food and drink include rooster-shaped gingerbread, and children can take part in alphabet and rooster crafts.
